Even the most critical theatergoer will be fed and satisfied by this new musical. The story of this beautiful yet tortured soul recounts how her life was filled with creative accomplishment and personal success, only to be tainted by terrible circumstances that led to her premature death.

As Phyllis
Liberty is an American actor, singer and dancer known for her work dancing with Andrea Kelly Dance Theatre, opening for numerous celebrities, and performing on two seasons of VH1’s Hollywood Exes. Her film credits include Ignite Your Love streaming on Tubi and The Bounce Back. She also has danced and sung background for Sandy Redd. Liberty played the Lead role in Living All Alone, the musical as the incomparable Phyllis Hyman at Theater 47 for 43 sold out shows and received the African American Alliance Award for Outstanding Actress for her performance. She is a triple threat and an amazing talent.
